When we first landed in Honduras a decade ago, we were just learning how great the needs were.. We know what we have seen so far has been through God and God alone. pirit’s direction we saw so many things happen that only He could accomplish take shape. Since first visiting now 10 years ago. we’ve had the opportunity to plant a school. That school now has over 150 children that are all taught from a Christian perspective.
Grounded on Faith: Starting a School in Honduras
In our journey through Honduras, we’ve remained steadfast in our commitment to serve, knowing that God’s hand is guiding every step we take. What began as a leap of faith has evolved into a story of transformation – both for the communities we serve and for ourselves.
Arriving a decade ago, we encountered challenges we hadn’t anticipated. Yet, through prayer and perseverance, we witnessed God’s providence at work, shaping our path in miraculous ways. Today, we stand in awe of the blessings bestowed upon us, none more significant than the establishment of a school.
This school stands as a testament to God’s grace, offering education infused with Christian values to over 150 children. It’s a reminder that when we align our efforts with God’s purpose, incredible things can happen.
As we reflect on the past decade, our hearts overflow with gratitude for the opportunity to serve as vessels of God’s love. And as we look ahead, we do so with renewed faith and commitment. Together, empowered by God’s guiding hand, we will continue to make a difference – one life at a time.

LifeHope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit started in 2012 by a group of believers, for the purpose of joining together beyond one specific church.
The need for a non-profit resulted after years of short-term missions trips. A natural progression began to work within the leaders of the mission teams, seeing the need to impact both the National and International communities beyond short-term projects. In addition, the establishment of the 501(c)(3) was essential in providing an accountability to the money being received for the mission projects; as well as reinforce the purpose of working together as a larger body of believers (beyond one specific church).
